EGG HARBOR — With a return to play last year at its historic golf course, the Alpine Resort in Egg Harbor will be opening its cottages again for visitors this spring, 2022.

Although the weather wasn’t as welcoming, members could begin play on the golf course as of last Friday. The course opens to the general public April 21, 2022, according to the website.

Cottages will open in Spring 2022. The online reservation system shows cottages available beginning May 27, 2022, however they already are booked through June 11, 2022.

The Alpine is a historic resort with a special 100-year history. Under new management, work is underway renovating the main lodge and clubhouse, improving the golf course, and rejuvenating the waterfront. Future expansion plans will offer a variety of dining and lodging accommodations, as well as other recreational activities along the waterfront, according to the website.

The course is now a vastly improved 18 holes including the red, blue and white holes. The 18th is now the famous “Bluff Hole.”

Known for its stunning natural beauty and relaxed environment, the Alpine Resort is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. The property encompasses nearly half a mile of shoreline, with picturesque bluffs, stunning waterfront along Lake Michigan’s Green Bay, one of Door County’s most scenic golf courses, and the iconic resort itself.
