DOOR COUNTY–If you are in Door County on Oct 30 or 31 this year, here are six fun Halloween events going on for children and adults alike.

  1. Thrills & Chills (Downtown Sturgeon Bay, Oct 30, 10a.m.-1p.m.) From trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses, to a haunted house, to pumpkin carving, this event is sure to be festive and family friendly.
  2. Ghost Ship 2021 (Sawyer Park Pier in Sturgeon Bay, Oct 30, 5p.m.-7:30p.m.) Come tour the USCGC Mobile Bay while it’s docked and turned into a ghost ship. While this is a free event, it is requested that those wanting to tour the ship bring canned goods for donations.
  3. Halloween Party (Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay, Oct 30, 7p.m.-10p.m.) With a buffet of appetizers, drink specials, live music, prizes and a costume contest, this party is sure to make for a fun night.
  4. Jack O’ Lantern Days (Fish Creek, Oct 30, 9a.m.-after 9p.m.) This full day event has activities for children and adults. From costume contests, to a walk down a haunted trail, to trick-or-treating at participating businesses and more, this event has a little something for everyone.
  5. Spooky Sanctuary Hikes (The Ridges in Baileys Harbor, Oct 30, 3p.m., 4p.m., 5p.m.) Come to The Ridges in costume and embark on a 90-minute hike along the boardwalk where you’ll learn about some of the spooky animals that roam the sanctuary at night. The price of admission for the public is $13, members $10, and 18 and under $5. Pre-registration is required for this event.
  6. Haunted Harbor (Baileys Harbor, Oct 31, 3p.m.-5p.m) This event will feature trick-or-treating throughout town and much more.
