GREEN BAY — Authorities are continuing their search for a father and his two kids last seen Saturday on their sailboat.

According to Brown County Emergency Management, 32-year-old Bill Salnick was last seen at 5 p.m. Saturday at Green Island near Egg Harbor with his two children, ages 5 and 3 on their sailboat. He said he was headed back to Oconto.

No one has been able to contact him since.

The sailboat is a small blue sailboat 18 ft, says My Lady Blue on the back.

The U.S. Coast Guard in Sturgeon Bay says they are using helicopters, boats and the HC-130 doing searches around the peninsula.

Search efforts are ongoing both on the water and on land, according to Brown County Emergency Management. It is possible they could be in the Green Bay area.

Contact your local emergency response center or the U.S. Coast Guard Station Sturgeon Bay directly.

Locals should anticipate heavy USCG air traffic throughout the night and early morning until the boat and its occupants are found.
