DOOR COUNTY — It will be a reunion of sorts this weekend in Fish Creek as some of the cast members of “A Wisconsin Christmas Pie” return of the Door County big-screen premiere at the Door Community Auditorium.
Over 40 members of the cast and crew stayed at the High Point Inn while filming the movie last spring, and in a social media post, the Inn said many are returning for the showings this weekend at the premiere.
The movie, filmed in various locations throughout the peninsula, is set during the Christmas season with Door County and features several local faces, as well as communities, venues and businesses.

December 13 at 7 p.m. at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek. - Holiday festivities, including caroling and cherry pie, will begin at 6 p.m.
- There will also be a free matinee showing on December 14 at 1 p.m.i

Starring Katie Leclerc (Switched at Birth, A Very Vermont Christmas) and Ryan Carnes (General Hospital, Desperate Housewives), the film tells the story of pastry chef Emma Parker returning from Chicago to her family’s cherry orchard in Door County for Christmas and learning the farm is on the brink of being sold to developers. Persuaded to enter the town’s holiday pie bake-off, Emma reconnects with her high school sweetheart, Mitch and together they discover the recipe for saving the orchard – and their hearts – might just be love.
