FISH CREEK — After 18 years in downtown Fish Creek, The Whistling Swan and Inn has announced they have sold to new owners.

The inn will remain open this winter and after a brief respite, the restaurant will reopen under the same name in Spring of 2022, according to a post on the businesses Facebook page.

The new owners are expected to honor current gift certificates, according to the post.

Owners Bill and Michelle Tressler thanked General Manager Scott Zimmerman and Executive Chef Adam Schierl for their work over the years.

They also thanked the many patrons who supported the inn and restaurant over the years.

“Thank you to all the amazing staff members who worked for us throughout the past 18 seasons,” The Tressler’s wrote. “You all have enriched our lives in so many ways. And finally thank you to all of the patrons who graced us with your presence.”

They said they remain confident the new owner will ensure it’s bright future.
