STURGEON BAY — For one day each year, Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay opens its doors to the public for tours of the shipbuilding industry. This year the tour will focus on Bay Shipbuilding only.

The Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay presents the 29th Annual Shipyard Tours on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

PURCHASE TICKETS

The Fincanieri Bay Shipbuilding site is 63 acres dedicated to construction, inspection and maintenance of the Great Lakes fleet. The 1-1/2 hour guided walking tour is focused on multiple informational sites moderated by shipbuilding professionals. The walk is over irregular surfaces and consideration should be given to personal activity level.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 cash the day of. $10 in advance for those ages 7-17. There is a limit of 1,000 tickets total available for the event. Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay is selling tickets in one hour time slots, Parking will be available on the street, Bay Shipbuilding parking lots or any of the public parking lots that are a short walk away in Downtown Sturgeon Bay.

All proceeds from ticket purchases are directed toward Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay and the Rotary Youth Interact charitable projects, including support for human and community development, vocational and academic ‘Service Above Self” scholarships, and the international exchange student program.
