STURGEON BAY — The Door County Candle Company, which has raised nearly $1 million to support the people of Ukraine, has now turned its attention to children suffering from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
The Hope Candle is a proprietary blend of Vanilla and became available Feb. 13, 2023 for $29.95.
All of of the profits from the Hope Candle will be donated to UNICEF, which supports children and their families first in emergency response to make sure they are safe and secure.
“Our amazing customers at Door County Candle have shown their love and support for people around the world, and we know together we can make an impact,” read a blog post on the companies website.
The company launched its Ukraine candle nearly a year ago and so far has donated $868,000 to the nonprofit Razom which supports relief efforts in the war ravaged country.
