EPHRAIM — Over the summer, visitors to Sip — the coffee, wine bar, restaurant and gift shop up the hill on the north side of Ephraim — watched as the building’s new addition took shape.

Now complete, the new space comes just in time for the holiday season in Door County.

In a social media post last week on the two-year anniversary of purchasing the property, the owner looked back on how far the business has come.

“Two years later we have already finished an amazing addition and we are loving every second of what Sip has become,” read a post this past week on Sip’s Facebook page. “We now have room to dance (literally and figuratively), an amazing kitchen, lots of nooks to find your favorite spot and we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, year round.”

They were closed for about 10 days and reopened Nov. 10 after putting the finishing touches on the project.

Sip is open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“Ephraim and Door County is a magical place and we are so grateful to be part of it,” she wrote on Facebook.
